Our Mission

To be a student member of the Le Moyne College Pre-Law Society means to be a part of a community of students who are interested in the profession of law. The Society provides student members with knowledge of the profession, law school, and the multiplicity of career paths a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) can be used for based on the experiences and perspectives shared by alumni who are part of the profession.

Members of the Le Moyne College Pre-Law Society will be able to connect with alumni who are in the field of law, or related fields. This will serve to further advance student members’ career discernment process, and potentially open the door to opportunities to gain exposure to the profession.

In recognition of Le Moyne College’s mission statement, the Le Moyne College Pre-Law Society will, in the Catholic and Jesuit Tradition, seek to prepare its members for leadership and service in their personal and professional lives to promote a more just society. Le Moyne College's Pre-Law Society is not merely an undergraduate club, but a society comprised of students and alumni.

Membership in the Society means being part of a network of Phins who work for the advancement of Jesuit values in the field of law. The collective efforts of its members will set the world ablaze, and promote justice in an unjust world.
